Bachelorette Weekend (Part 3)

Happy Monday, readers!  If you missed my other two parts of my bachelorette weekend recap, be sure to check them out.

Bachelorette Weekend (Part 1)
Bachelorette Weekend (Part 2)

After getting dinner, we came back to the hotel to relax for a while.  Some of us took a nap and others just stayed up and chatted in the hotel room.  I was running on adrenaline so, I was one of those who stayed up.

We all started getting ready to go out around 8PM.  I wore this flashy sequin dress from Forever 21.  I hadn’t gone into a Forever 21 store since college, but I felt it was appropriate for the occasion.  I also wore some bachelorette accessories that my bridesmaids purchased for me, which included a black rhinestone sash, beads, tiara, and a light-up shot glass necklace.  I was set.

We hopped into a cab and took a drive over to our destination for the night, Power Plant Live.  I had never seen a place like this before, even though apparently there’s a place in Philly that’s very similar.  It’s a group of bars and restaurants that are in a pavilion.  It’s really insane, because there’s so many drunk people in one confined area.

The first bar we went to was Luckies.  It was definitely a strange crowd.  However, when we got there, they definitely appreciated bachelorette parties, because we got pulled right up to the bar the minute we walked into the place.  The bartender made us like rainbow shot, which was super cool.  When he poured the shots from the shaker, the alcohol changed colors.

After we took that shot, we hung out at Luckies for an hour I guess, but it really wasn’t all that great.  So after we left Luckies, we walked over to PBR.  Again, apparently there is a PBR in Philly, but I don’t get out much so it was all new to me.  PBR is a country bar and the name actually stands for Professional Bull Riders.  Yes, they had a mechanical bull there, but no I didn’t get on because I had a dress on.  If I go to the one in Philly anytime soon, I’m definitely trying it out.  It looked so fun.

So anyway, we had a blast at PBR!  The music was great (all country for the most part), the crown was fun and we had a LOT to drink.  I liked this bar because everyone there was just happy and ready to dance, and we didn’t have weird groups of guys hitting on us.

We stayed at PBR until they closed around 2AM.  I unfortunately don’t have any photos from actually being out at the bars so you’ll just have to take my word for it that it was a blast!

I love country bars!! I’m so glad you had such a good time!

Chelsea @ A Fit LittleOne

Love your dress! It looks great on you!! Haha I’ve too wanted to try out one of those mechanical bulls. I don’t ever go out to the bars, I’m not a drinker at all. And this weekend I just relaxed, dyed and cut my aunt’s hair, skyped with the boyfriend, and just hung out with the family. It’s the start of Spring Break for me, so I was thrilled to finally have a relaxing weekend!
