Doggy Dental Health

I enjoy sharing pet products with you, because if you have a pup you know that sometimes it can be difficult to find high quality products that your pet will like. Since as a human, you can’t test the product out, Pete is here to help! He loves all the wonderful products he is getting to try out for the blog. He is always happy to offer his recommendations- especially when it has to do with yummy treats.

Today I’m talking about doggy dental health. I love Milk-Bone Brushing Chews because they help take care of Pete’s teeth with little effort on my part. Bryan and I don’t have the time to brush his teeth with his toothbrush and toothpaste every week, so these Brushing Chews are a lifesaver. When fed daily, they are clinically proven to be as effective as brushing. Pete could care less about the health benefits. He just loves them because they taste like chicken! If he’s happy, I’m happy.

The Brushing Chews are not only delicious (according to Pete), but are also:

  • Clinically proven to reduce tartar buildup and accepted by the Veterinary Oral Health Council
  • Designed to clean like bristles on a toothbrush
  • Packed with 12 essential vitamins and minerals, including calcium

Since Pete is so tiny, it took him close to an hour to eat the entire Brushing Chew. Actually now that I’m thinking about it, he may have hidden it under our couch. I’ll have to check on that later. Either way, he really enjoys these. I initially gave him the chew outside and when I tried taking the chew from him to bring it inside, but he wouldn’t let go of it. He protected it like it was his baby.

The team at Milk-Bone sent me the products to review. No other compensation was provided. All opinions are my own.
