Friday Favorites

This week felt super long.  Maybe it was the fact that it was the first full week in a while, due to the holidays.  Although this week went slower than molasses, I have some great favorites to talk to you today for Friday Favorites!  Enjoy!

Suja Juice - via simply-nicole.com

I tried the best Suji juice on Monday.  It’s the Green Charge juice their Suji Elements line.  Deliciousness in a bottle.  It has: apple, pineapple, banana, mango, kiwi, kale, spinach, chia seed, flax seed, barley grass, spirulina, chlorella, and alfalfa.  So good.  I love this juice because although it has a load of veggies, it’s still pretty sweet due to the fruit content.  YUM.  I bought my bottle from Whole Foods, if you’re interested.  If you’re wondering how they stay fresh on the shelves and keep their nutrients, here’s a blurb from their website:

“Each Suja Elements juice is packed with vital nutrients your body needs, like amino acids, antioxidants, proteins, and omegas. All of our juices are cold pressed, never heated, and High Pressure Processed (HPP) to preserve the freshness. These epically refreshing juices have about 20% less sugar than leading brands and no added “natural” flavors, colors or preservatives.”

Another favorite for this week was that my wedding invitations came in!  Of course I’m not going to post them on here, but I’ll show you the box (hehe).  Only thing I’ll say is that they definitely reflect my style and I’ll leave it at that Winking smile.  I’m super excited they came in early, because I wasn’t anticipating them until mid/late January!  William Arthur, you’re the best.

A new thing for me this week – my first Dirty Chai.  I hate that name, but it’s actually the name of a drink at Starbucks!  It’s a chai tea latte with a shot of espresso in it.  I tried in on Thursday, and in my opinion it tastes more like a spicy latte than a chai.  So if you like chai tea lattes, you may or may not like these.  I’d say give it a try!

The final favorite of mine for this week was putting together a spreadsheet for my florist with details on what types/colors of flowers I want at the wedding.  The overall feel of the wedding is going to be the same as I wanted months ago, but I finally decided on centerpieces last night!  WAHOO.  One more thing off this massive to-do list!

Yum!! I’m always looking at the sugar content in those kind of drinks, so it was nice to see that it has 20% than normal. My favorite from this week, is just seeing my boyfriend get better everyday after his surgery. I’m looking forward to just spending more time with the boyfriend before I go back to school. Have a great weekend 🙂
