Friday Favorites

Good morning! I’m so excited that it’s Friday. After work today, Bryan and I are going to spend time at our pool. We don’t usually get to go during the work week, so I made sure to put it on our calendar for today. It will hopefully be less crowded than it is on Saturday afternoons.

Let’s get into my Friday Favorites.

Friday Favorites

1. New Interviews

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be having a new interview series here on the blog. First up is my friend Danica who runs the graphic design company D. Cramer Designs. We’ll learn all about her take on graphic design and branding trends, as well as how she manages to balance a full-time job and her design business. Be on the lookout for that next week! If you know anyone who is a trendsetter in business/blogging or healthy living, let me know in the comments below.

2. Hawaiian Water

If you follow me on Instagram, you already know how much I love SmartWater. However, this past week I stopped at Wawa for lunch and picked up this bottle of Waiakea water. I’ll admit that the only reason I picked it up in the first place was because of the gorgeous colored bottle. Um, hello! I’ll also admit that it’s definitely not as good as SmartWater, but a good alternative. It tasted better than my filtered water at home, but not as delicious (in my opinion) than SmartWater. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

3. Ray-Ban Sunglasses

This week I won a pair of Ray-Ban New Wayfarers at work! How lucky is that?! I never win anything. I love the lens. They are Ray-Ban’s G-15 in dark green. What’s so special about them? They absorb 85% of visible light, block out most of blue light, and ensure better clarity of vision and color contrast. Win!

4. Watermelon

I’ve been LOVING watermelon lately. I’m already on my second full watermelon in less than two weeks. Recently, I had watermelon topped with dairy free yogurt, chia seeds, flax seeds and hemp seeds. Delicious! I’ll be doing a full post on the benefits of seeds in the next coming weeks. I’ve been using them on top of everything. The possibilities are endless.
