TGIF! This week has been a bit crazy. Since it gets dark at like 5PM now, I’m ready for bed by 8:30. I’m trying to get into a good workout routine, but it’s been a bit tough. A few months ago, I did a two week trial at a kick butt yoga studio in my area. I’m hoping to get a full membership in the next month or so and start practicing again.

In the meantime, let’s check out my Friday Favorites from this week.

Minted Holiday Cards

1. Ordering holiday cards

It’s that time of year again! The holidays are among us. Target stores rolled out their holiday merchandise the day after Halloween! Since Bryan and I are going on vacation next week, we want to make sure our holiday cards are ordered as soon as possible. Last year’s cards came out so nicely, that we’ll be using Minted again. I’m not sure which card template we are choosing yet, but I really love these options {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}.

wayfair console table

2. New console table

I’ve been looking for a new console table for months now. I even told you about my favorites in this post. Oddly enough, I didn’t pick any of those. I chose the Safavieh Cindy Console Table from Wayfair. I do have to say that the drawer pulls are not gold as pictured on the website. They are more brass, which is completely fine. We don’t have more silver-toned pieces than gold in our apartment anyway. I’m looking to add a large piece of art and new decor to our table, so if anyone has any suggestions, please comment below.

avocado toast

3. Avocado toast

Avocado toast has been a favorite of mine for a while now, but this week I had it twice! I smeared the avocado on Food For Life Ezekiel bread with a dash of sea salt and hemp seeds. Hemp seeds are a perfect blend of easily digested proteins, essential fats, antioxidants, amino acids, fiber, iron, and vitamin E. I’ll be doing a whole post about my favorite seeds soon.

starbucks red cup

4. First red cup of the season

This week, I got an email that it was Starbucks’ red cup season. Of course I had to go out and get my red cup asap. I don’t usually like their sugary, holiday drinks so I drink my standard orders all year round – grande extra hot soy chai, or a triple grande extra hot soy latte (+ a dash of nutmeg).
