Happy February!

Hello loves, it’s been a crazy week. Happy February. I am excited to buy some goodies for my Secret Cupid! I also have to mail out my friend Sarah’s goodies for Vday. Anyhow, my first time at Trader Joes was fun. However, if you read my facebook status from the other day it said that “I had an anxiety attack in Trader Joes”… Not an actual attack, but it was super crowded, and i started envisioning myself running people over with my cart. I guess that’s what happens when you go the day before the Super Bowl =/ Here are some things I picked up along with some testimonials!

Clif Bars- Carrot Cake
These are soo fabulous. Possibly my favorite bar yet! They taste like real carrot cake. I had one in between rehearsals and it kept
me full until I got home, when I decided to snack on some SOY VANILLA icecream & puffins.
Lara Bars- Cherry Pie & Cashew Cookie

Kashi Baked Apple Spice Cereal Bars
these are amazing. very soft & great to have along with breakfast when I don’t really want a heavy clif bar or other energy bar. Tastes like apple pie crust.

Special K Crackers- Italian Tomato & Herb
these babies are gone! they are so great. they taste like eating a red pizza (a pizza without the cheese). very tasty and flavorful. great low-cal snack and only 2grams of fat in a serving of 17 crackers!

Trader Joe’s Organic Soy Vanilla Ice Cream-
very creamy & tastes amazing with Puffins Cereal *cinnamon flavored. my boyfriend is very picky when it comes to food he isn’t used to, and he tasted it and loved it!

Edamame- not a new purchase for me, but always amazing snack.

Trader Joe’s Sweet Potato Bisque Soup-

Trader Joe’s Eggplant Garlic Spread-
very distinct flavor of the eggplant & peppers. tastes amazing on a pita

Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Butter-
saw this on a blog recently, and had to buy it! tastes similar to apple butter, and you know how much i love my apple butter. had a spicy kick to it, but also very sweet. tastes like pumpkin pie! very healthy alternative to jelly on toast.
Fage total 0%-
NOT A FAN! i guess i am the only blogger who isn’t impressed with Fage. I ate it with a banana and blueberries mixed in, and it was too tart and I did not like the texture it had in my mouth. any suggestions on what to mix in it because I have another one left and I don’t want it to go to waste!

Also this weekend I went to King Of Prussia Mall with the boyfriend. Of course I had to use the gift card I had from christmas at forever21. here are some lovely items I had to pick up.

Until tomorrow loves,

hey there, thanks for coming by my blog πŸ˜€
oh wow that mustve been some craziness going on at traderjoe’s if you almost got an anxiety attack! good thing i didn’t go the day before the superbowl.
i like to use fage mainly for tuna/chicken salads, in place of mayo or something. i’m not too much of a fan of it by itself either!

omg i love trader joe’s! it’s like heaven on earth for me! i usually mix in something sweet to my fage because it is really tart. I like to mix in some type of really cereal or granola and then it kind of taste like pinkberry. but that just might be me.

Yay for finding me! I’m glad you did! I love your blog! It’s so cute! Great buys from the oh so wonderful TJ’s! I try not to go there on weekends. It seriously gets SO crowded and nuts!
Have a great Tuesday gorgeous!

whoa girl you found some good stuff at trader joes! i'm not a huge fage fan either, unless theirs LOTS of sweetener and fruit or peanut butter mixed in. definitely take jenny's advice and try chobani – it's sweetened so it's not as tart and it's SOOOO creamy! good luckkk <3

yeah for new clothes & v-day gifts. i'm mailing yours out soon too :]

love you girl.

Great blog! I love sweet potato soup, you have to do a review on the Trader Joe’s version.

ahhh I love forver21 it is one of my favorite stores ever! πŸ™‚ All of those tops are sooo cute too dear.

The best thing that I have found to mix into fage is pineapple. It really sweetens it up and the juice makes the yogurt a little less thick.

cute violet top. love it πŸ˜‰

Hey girly! I sadly hadn't stumbled upon your blog yet so thanks for the comment it got me here. I see you've got some awesome style going on here yourself. πŸ™‚

I'd say mix anything sweet into the fage. I actually like it's texture cause I find it incredibly filling, but I usually add vanilla extract & sweet&low (so chemical, i know) or splenda to it. I'd say if you have any kind of sugar or syrup on hand throw it in there.

whoa girl you weren’t lying when you said you had lots of goodies..you went to TOWN! I’m super jealous!!

I’ve never tried Fage – only chobani..but I know that I don’t like *plain* greek yogurt at all.. I agree – it’s very tart! I do love the flavored chobani though (peach is my favorite :)!) and the vanilla is really good too! I definitely recommend giving chobs a whirl if you feel like giving the greek goodness another shot πŸ˜‰ xo
