Spring Wellness Wishlist

Good morning! Everyone is spring cleaning, but I’m procrastinating doing that. Instead, I’ve been online window shopping. I think I’ve talked about this on the blog once before. Online window shopping is when you go online, browse for a while, and add random products to your cart. Eventually, you decide that the $500 order from Amazon or Nordstrom doesn’t fit with your budget, so you click the little X button on your browser, and go about the rest of your day. Haha. It’s kind of therapeutic for some strange reason.

I’ve been online window shopping for new products, and figured that it would be a good time to finally bite the bullet and just buy some of these things that I’ve been eyeing online for quite a while. Here’s my own personal spring wellness wishlist. Enjoy!

Yoga Wheel

First up, is the yoga wheel. I’ve seen yoga wheels sold all over the place, including TJMaxx and Marshalls, but since I very rarely go out shopping, I found it on Amazon for you guys. It’s a prop that you can use during your practice to improve muscle tone, create confidence and more stability, and help you get into more advanced postures.

Adult Coloring Book

I absolutely love coloring, and typically do it on Friday nights. {I live a crazy life – Ha!}. It calms me down after a long work week and helps me reset for the weekend. I’m not quite finished the coloring book I’m currently using, but I’d love to get a second one to mix things up a bit. This one called Color Me Calm has great reviews. It was created by an art therapist and artist, and provides 100 templates designed to help you feel relaxed. I’m definitely all for that.

Ice Roller

I feel late to the game on this, because I’ve seen countless bloggers talk about this magical product for years now. At first, I thought it was all hype, but now that I’ve done more research on it, I need to get it ASAP. You could use the ice roller for many different things, but I plan on rolling it all over my face in the mornings to help with puffiness and fatigue. You could also use it whenever you need pain relief. Think of it as an ice pack that doesn’t melt all over the place!

Dry Brush

Dry brushing has so many health benefits. It removes flaky skin, increases circulation, improves the lymphatic system, gets rid of toxins, stimulates blood flow to the heart, boosts energy levels, and so much more. Basically, you use the brush DRY before showering. Begin brushing at your ankles in an upwards motion, and then move up to your lower legs, thighs, stomach, and arms. When I finally order my dry brush, I’m going to do a whole post explaining the process. I think that would be helpful, right?

Oh She Glows Plant-Based Cookbook

I don’t know about you, but I’m constantly struggling to come up with new recipes to make each week – especially for dinners. I was wasting time recently searching through Amazon, and found the Oh She Glows cookbook {blog turned cookbook!}. The description on Amazon sold me – “Liddon shares wildly delicious recipes that are perfect for busy lifestyles, promising to make plant-based eating convenient every day of the week. Filled with more than one hundred family-friendly recipes everyone will love, like Oh Em Gee Veggie Burgers, Fusilli Lentil-Mushroom Bolognese, and Ultimate Flourless Brownies, Oh She Glows Every Day also includes useful information on essential pantry ingredients and tips on making recipes kid-, allergy-, and freezer-friendly.”

Yoga Mat Bag

As much as I love my current yoga mat bag, it’s a bit too small for my Lululemon mat. The mat definitely still fits, but it’s a PAIN to pack away after class. This bag is much larger, and has a 100% money back guarantee. So if for some reason I hate it, I can just return it with no worries. Plus, it has such a cute pattern! Win.

Silicone Ice Cube Trays

This is a weird item to add to a wishlist, I suppose… but whatever. I’m definitely need these silicone {BPA-free} ice cube trays. We have normal ice cube trays, but sometimes I want to have extra trays for fruit or coffee flavored ice cubes. Also – I definitely want to make these DIY natural sink cleaners that I want to share on the blog soon. So many uses!
