Thoughts on Perspective

Good morning!  Tonight I have a dentist appointment, and I have a lot planned for the day, but I wanted to share with you the workout from yesterday:

I kept it light because I wanted to get something done, but my muscles were pretty sore from Monday.  It’s supposed to be over 90 degrees today, so I hope to get some time in the sun, because it’s been a LONG time since that has happened.

I’ve been thinking a lot about perspective.  This may have stemmed from watching Undercover Boss yesterday.  There are so many people out there who on the outside may seem like they have it really rough.  They have not the best home situations, they have a not so glamorous job or they don’t make enough money to support their families.  However – they are extremely grateful and happy with their lives.  That’s what happened on Undercover Boss.  One employee’s home and life was basically washed away by Hurricane Katrina, but that guy was so happy and grateful for his current situation, that you’d never know that his life was drastically altered.

It’s all about perspective and how you view yourself, your life and your surroundings.

I leave you with a few amazing quotes I found via this week.  I hope you all have an amazing Wednesday and get outside and get some fresh air!

I use to go outside all the time (during the summer – School schedule). But now I only get to on Saturdays because I get up too early. I do believe it is all about perspective and how you view things. Is your glass half full, or half empty? I try my best to see everything as half full. It makes life more enjoyable, and I’m just happier all around when I do 🙂 And usually when I don’t, it’s usually because I’m super hard on myself.

you should try to get at least 15 min outside if you can. great way to get your vitamin D! 🙂

I’m pretty much a glass half-full person, but I worry a lot. I need to keep that in perspective!

Same for me! definitely glass half full, but i do worry about a lot of things, sometimes those even out of my control.

the older I get the more I think about my FUTURE SELF on the reg 🙂
