Valentine's Day Gift Basket for your pup

It’s no secret that our dachshund puppy Pete is a huge part of my life. I can’t help but to spoil him! He has cute bow-ties, warm jackets, stylish sweaters and an unlimited number of socks to chew. So when I realized Valentine’s Day was quickly approaching, I knew I had to put together a special gift basket for him.

Today I’m sharing how I made Pete’s gift basket, featuring his favorite treats from Milkbone and Pup-Peroni. I hope this inspires you to assemble your own gift basket for the pup in your life.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Basket –  This one used to hold magazines in my home, so I re-purposed it for this project.
  • Towel or Blanket – I love this festive towel, because it’s bright and colorful.
  • Your pets favorite treats – Pete loves Milkbone and Pup-Peroni products.
  • Your pets favorite toys – Pete prefers soft stuffed animals and rubber treat dispensing toys.

I picked up the treats at my local Walmart store. They have a bunch of different varieties of MilkBone and Pup-Peroni products, so I’m sure you’ll be able to find something your dog will enjoy.

Pete certainly enjoyed his early Valentine’s Day present. Taking photos of him was quite the challenge, because he couldn’t eat his treats fast enough!

Pete is adorable! What a great Valentine’s idea for him. Our dogs will definitely be getting some Pup-Peroni and Milk-Bones as well. #client

Well, while I don’t have a pup in my life, I can certainly see myself spoiling the crap out of my future one this way. Jim will probably think I’m crazy.

He’s so cute! Happy Valentines Day Pete! 😀

OH!!
I love this idea for the child and me to create for the DOODLE!!!
