Weekend Recap (10/18- 10/20)

Good morning, readers!  Apologies for not posting on Friday.  I was having a problem with Windows Live Writer and it wouldn’t let me re-download the program.  It still has a few glitches I am trying to work out, but at least it will let me publish content.

On Thursday (I think), Bryan and I went over to the mall because I had a coupon for Bath and Body Works.  Don’t they always send you those at the most amazing times?!  I was almost out of body wash and I received a coupon for a free Signature Collection item of my choice.  Of course, I knew I wanted to try one of their body washes out.  I usually stay away from really strong smelling body wash products, but this one stood out to me.  It has a hint aroma of flowers but overall smells very fresh and clean.

On Friday, Leslee and her BF came over for game night!  Got to love game night, because it equals lots of cheese, crackers, 90s pop hits, Clue and this time around caramel and candy apples!

Game Night

We ended up talking for a while, checking out Leslee’s new car (an adorable Mazda3), and playing a round of Clue.  By 11PM, we were all exhausted.  Clearly we can’t hang like college kids anymore.

Game Night

On Saturday morning, Bryan and Leslee’s BF went over to a car show in our town while I sat at home and did some wedding officiant research.  Still need to pick and sign a contract with an officiant to marry us.  It’s only the most important part of the actual ceremony…

The rest of the weekend involved the following:

  • a trip to Target
  • a trip to Macy’s to check out some stuff on our wedding registry
  • designed our marriage monogram
  • dropped Shelly (my car) off at the dealership for inspection
  • caught up on a lot of our favorite TV shows (anyone else loving Trophy Wife?!)
  •

    Talk to Me

    • What did you do this weekend?
    • What TV shows are your favorites this season?
    • What is your favorite board game?

Monopoly is my game 🙂 Except no one likes playing it for hours like I do hahaha. Yay for caramel apples! I haven’t had any this season, and I’m surprised my boyfriend hasn’t he is a huge fan of them. I’m pretty much addicted to Hart of Dixie and Vampire Diaries :). Have a good Monday!
