Good morning!  It’s Monday yet again and I have a busy day ahead of me, but I wanted to get this post up as early as possible.  Let’s get right into my weekend recap.

On Friday night, Bryan went out to dinner/drinks with a friend of his so I stayed home, watched Real Housewives and drank rosé.  It was a pretty fantastic night.  I love watching my trashy reality shows.  It makes my life seem not as dramatic as I sometimes believe it to be.

On Saturday, Bryan and I stopped at Starbucks for salted caramel mochas before heading over to Byers’ Choice in Chalfont.  They have a Christmas Village that Bryan and I really wanted to check out.  It was so much fun.

My favorite section was the area with all of the Christmas figurines from various countries.  Growing up, we always had vintage decorations that were passed down generations.  For instance, if you are German did you ever have one of these?  We had one that we put up every year.  I used to like spinning it around and around when I was a child.  I’m surprised I never broke it, because the entire thing was made from wood; even the thin fan blades.

Here are some other images from our visit.

After Byers’ Choice, we walked around the mall.  I went into Express to try on this poncho on my wishlist, but unfortunately I didn’t see it in-store.  I did however, find the most AMAZING sweater in the entire universe.  If you’re going to buy it, I do suggest going up a size.  I have on a size Medium in the picture, because I like a more relaxed fit for my sweaters.  When you look at the model in the image on the Express website, you’ll see that they have the model wearing it more form fitting.  It’s all about what you like!  I’ll be definitely going back sometime in the next few weeks to pick this up!

On Sunday morning, we drove down to Bryan’s parents’ house because his sister, his mom, his aunt, and I had Bingo plans for the day.  His mom’s old HS was hosting Coach Bingo and it was a lot of fun.  Unfortunately, we didn’t win any bags!  After Bingo, we stopped for a seafood dinner.  I ordered broiled scallops in a white wine caper sauce with broccoli and roasted potatoes on the side.  Mmm, roasted potatoes from this restaurant are my absolute favorite.

You need to do a hair tutorial! I love your locks!

Thanks girl! Not sure how to set up my crappy iPhone to do a video tutorial but I’ll try to figure it out.

I’ve began shopping for my brother and his girlfriend, but that’s about it haha I’m super OCD and just want everyone to love what they are getting, and honestly because of that I procrastinate, too much pressure. Love that sweater! If I lived somewhere colder I would defiantly get it.

the ONLY GOOOOD THING about thanksgivukkah is my shopping is Done.
it had to be 🙂

Haha, that’s fantastic! I haven’t even started my shopping yet.
