Weekend Recap (5/31– 6/1)

How was everyone’s weekend?  Mine was pretty great, aside from a killer headache I had for the majority of the weekend.  Let’s take a look into my Weekend Recap.

Saturday

On Saturday morning, Bryan and I drove to the Bryn Mawr Post Office so I could submit the name change on my passport.  Once that was taken care of, we walked around the farmers market and took a quick stroll around Bryn Mawr.  Barely any stores were open that early in the morning, but it was such a gorgeous day!  The farmers market was about as big as the one in King of Prussia, PA – probably 20 or so vendors.

After we left Bryn Mawr, we drove to check out a new Wawa.  Wawas open up all the time in our area, so it wasn’t out of the ordinary.  Wawa gives out free coffee for the first 10 days after grand openings, so we headed there for free coffee!

I wore my favorite baseball striped t-shirt from Gap, shorts and bag from J.Crew, and converse sneakers.  It was the perfect outfit for walking around on Saturday.

The rest of Saturday consisted of stopping at the grocery store for a few things, and relaxing in front of the TV watching Orphan Black.  Does anyone else watch that show?!  It’s SO good.

SUNDAY

I made us pancakes for breakfast on Sunday morning.  I’m not sure if I ever made pancakes before this weekend, but they ended up coming out pretty well.  After breakfast, I cleaned up the apartment and we headed over to the pool.  We stayed at the pool for an hour or so, then headed out to Whole Foods and Trader Joes.  I love Trader Joes, because they have so many unique products that you can’t get elsewhere.

Later in the afternoon we went to the in-laws’ house to swim in the pool and have dinner.  Bryan’s aunt, uncle and cousin came over as well.  It was nice to spend the day with family.  The weather was so nice on Sunday!

I also had the opportunity to wear my new pullover from Hadley and Finn.  I love it so much.  I’ll be featuring it a post in the next week or so.  Keep an eye out!
