Happy Monday! I’m actually excited to get this week started and over with, because I leave for my honeymoon on Thursday. I’m very grateful that I’ll have guest posts and scheduled posts of my own up on the blog while I’m away, so keep checking in.
On Friday, Bryan and I went to the Luke Bryan concert at Lincoln Financial Field in Philly. Before our wedding, I was trying everyday to win the tickets through our local radio station, but never got through. When Bryan surprised me with the tickets the day after our wedding I was so excited. We had really great seats. We were in level 118, row 18. Luke Bryan is amazing live. If you ever get the opportunity to see him in concert, I highly recommend buying tickets. He sounds exactly as he does on the radio.
On Saturday, we did a lot of shopping for the honeymoon. We stopped at the King of Prussia mall in hopes of getting some good end of summer deals, but most of the items were gone. Every store had fall clothing out already! We did end up finding a few good things. Bryan bought a bathing suit and Nike shorts and I picked up a Victoria’s Secret bathing suit bottom and a maxi dress from Nordstrom.
When I was in Nordstrom, I looked at a few purses that I saw online. With purses, I always have to see them in person before buying. Sometimes bags can look small online but massive in the store. This Rebecca Minkoff bag is going to be perfect for work this fall and winter, so I’ve added it to my birthday/Christmas wishlist. I typically never ask for purses because I never find ones that I like. I think the last bag that I purchased was a Ralph Lauren bag four years ago. I’m not kidding.
Sunday was spent packing and doing a LOT of laundry. My sister also came over for a while and we went to Chipotle for dinner. YUM! Pete also helped me pack. He’s not really sure what this “honeymoon” thing I keep talking about is, but he’s not happy.
