Affordable Unique Decor

Decor

118

Since moving a year and a half ago, I’ve been trying to add more decor to our apartment so it can begin to feel like a “home.” With so many retailers selling affordable decor, it’s hard to find unique pieces. Many times I’ll walk into a big box retailer and see the same decor plastered all over Instagram and Pinterest. It seems as though everyone my age has the same stuff these days!

That was until I came across Laura Row’s Etsy Shop. Laura is a painter and illustrator based out of State College, PA. She sells gorgeous prints and original paintings. One of my favorite pieces is the Coco Mademoiselle Chanel print, that’s now on my nightstand. Since I’m married and obviously live with my husband, we tend to pick gender neutral items for our home. As you see in the photos above, our bedding is a bit masculine with the blue colors, but the paisley print adds a hint of girly. I adore the Coco Chanel print because it adds a hint of femininity and sophistication to my bedroom.

Laura also designs custom watercolor paintings (as seen above), which are perfect for brides to be. All you have to do is pick ten items to be included in your collage and Laura will design a perfect layout and paint the collage in detailed watercolor. It’s really easy. Just email Laura photos of the items or send her a clear description. Some things to include: your wedding dress, location, bridal shoes, bridesmaid gifts, signature drink, bridal bouquet or wedding cake.

Since I love the Chanel print so much, Laura was kind enough to sponsor a giveaway for one lucky winner! Enter below! You have until next Thursday at midnight to enter.

This is definitely unique! When I first saw the picture I thought it was a real bottle and not a waterpaint!

So cute! I’ve been doing the same thing since my husband and I moved to our apartment 1 1/2 ago! One small thing at a time!

The croissant picture might be really cute in a kitchen. And when I own a home, I love the idea of having a watercolor done of it. Pretty things :)

I love the ice cream print. We are about halfway through our renovations and our house seems so empty because other than picture frames, we really lack decor. I am looking for some cute things to hang in our kitchen once it’s done (if it ever gets done!) and those cones are perfect!

The Chanel canvas is way too cute. The Hubs better watch out, if I get my hands on it our bedroom will have the finishing touch of “girly”.
