My Beauty Tea

in Collaboration on 03/19/14

Last week I mentioned that I’ve been drinking more tea than coffee these days.  Literally every morning when I get into the office, I have a cup of tea.  I’m not complaining because my Starbucks bill has been non-existent recently.  My tea of choice?  Sugar Chai!

I was recently introduced to a company called My Beauty Tea and was instantly intrigued.  The name itself just sounds amazing, doesn’t it?  The owner of My Beauty Tea, Stephanie, was nice enough to send me two bags of their loose tea to try out: Sugar Chai and Beauty Blend.

Since I’m a complete idiot and left both bags of tea are at work, I’ll have to use some of the photos from the My Beauty Tea website for this post.  Bad blogger, I know.  I was going to wait until tomorrow to post this so I could take some pictures, but I wanted to share this with you ASAP.

Sugar Chai is made with cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, vanilla beans and other spices.  I love it because it’s not spicy and is perfect for the mornings.  When I say I’ve had this tea every day for a month, I literally mean that.  Every single day.  I’m completely obsessed.  When I run out of the bag I have, I’ll be purchasing more because I can’t live without it.  Also , want to know a secret?  If I can’t finish my cup of tea, I keep it at my desk and it smells delicious all day long.

The second tea they sent me was their Beauty Blend herbal chamomile blend.  This tea is made with cinnamon bark, boldo leaves and spearmint leaves which is great for digestion.  Since I’ve been drinking so much Sugar Chai, I’ve only had Beauty Blend a handful of times.  It’s not that I don’t like it, I just prefer the Sugar Chai in the mornings when I typically drink tea.

With each order, the company sends you a free sample tea bag.  In my box I received the Sweet Mango green tea.  Mmm!  It’s so good.  I drank it hot, but I think it would taste even better cold on a hot summer day.

I’m so happy that I found out about My Beauty Tea, because I know I’ll be a customer for life.  Their teas are very flavorful and in my opinion one of the best loose tea companies out there.  They are based in Canada, so when you visit their website, you’ll see that some of their content is in French.

Some of their other loose tea flavors:

  • Pink Blossom green tea
  • Red Blush rooibos tea
  • Spicy Pumpkin black tea (I MUST purchase this in the fall)
  • Earl Grey a la Crème black tea
  • Get Comfy green tea

That Sugar Chai tea sounds amazing! I’m more of the blah tea person haha I just go for green tea or something like that. I need to buy better flavors! Like the Sugar Chai, it’s just that if I go to a tea store they charge an arm and a leg for it haha so I stick to basic tea.
