My weekend recap post is a day late, but I have a good excuse. I have a terrible cold. Ugh. I hate being sick. On Valentine’s Day night I started feeling absolutely terrible. Bryan was sick all last week and I really thought I wasn’t going to catch his cold. Little did I know that on Friday night it would hit me like a ton of bricks. I swear, I went from feeling fine to feeling like crap all in like 30 minutes time.
On Saturday, I was supposed to go to the Philly Auto Show with Bryan because I had free tickets from work, but I couldn’t get out of bed so I told him to go with one of his friends instead. I spent the day in my pjs, watching Netflix, and just hanging out. I felt like crap, but at least I was comfy and had a good time.
Oh, and I got to look at these gorgeous tulips that Bryan got for me on Valentine’s Day. It’s not spring-time weather outside, but I’m trying my best to make my home feel that way!
On Sunday, I decided it was probably a good idea to get some fresh air, so I went with Bryan to pick up his mom at her house before heading over to the King of Prussia Mall. We had a delicious lunch at Rock Bottom Brewery and then ran a few errands. By the way – if you’ve never been to Rock Bottom Brewery, you really need to go. They have the BEST nachos and veggie burgers. Delicious!
I also picked up a juice. This one was carrot, apple, wheatgrass, celery and ginger. The perfect dose of medicine for my sickness.
Bryan and I also walked around one of my favorite stores – Arhaus. It reminds me a bit of Restoration Hardware, which is my other favorite home store. Check out this chandelier!
After the mall, we ordered pizza at Bryan’s parents’ house and then came home.
On Monday, I somehow made it through an entire work day. It was pretty rough. I won’t lie. I was able to sleep through the night on Sunday night, so that definitely helped. Thank you cold medicine! When I got home from work, we ate dinner, watched the Bachelor and made pina coladas! Who says you can’t have pina coladas in the middle of winter on a random Monday night? I added cherries to mine, because why not?!

Omg that chandelier is gorgeous! I just spent some time with the boyfriend, nothing fancy, just a lot of relaxing, a little homework. Hope you feel better soon!!! Being sick is no fun!
