Yogatober

Happy October! October is probably one of my favorite months (aside from December). There’s so many great things about October: pretty colored trees, cooler weather, farmer’s markets, Halloween decorations, trick-or-treaters and haunted houses. What’s not to love?!

This October, I wanted to celebrate the season by starting something I call Yogatober. I’m sure this is nothing new, but I decided today that I would practice yoga every day for the entire month of October.

So what do you have to do?

  • Practice yoga at least once a day every day. It doesn’t have to be a full hour. Just practice for how ever long you can give yourself. Some days you might have more time than others, but that is okay. Just celebrate the season, get on your mat and practice!
  • Use the #Yogatober on Twitter and Instagram and let me know what you’re doing each day. (If you want of course )

That’s about it.

Simple, right?! You owe this to yourself. Give yourself time every day this month and get back to your mat. My favorite way to practice yoga when I’m not in-studio is by watching online videos. You already know that my favorite website is Reflexion Yoga, so I won’t go into much detail about the greatness of that site. Whatever you do, roll out your mat and get to it!

    I don’t do yoga, but I do a bit of stretching. I like to do it at night, relaxes me before I go to bed, and always puts a good note on the day :)
